Remember remember the 5th of November

Tomorrow is 5th of November, the famous Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Guy Fawkes DayBonfire Night and Firework Night. It is an annual commemoration observed on 5 November, primarily in Great Britain. Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London, and months later the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Act enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot's failure.

Do you remember The Hurlingham Club, where we took the lifestyle photos? Well, last Saturday there was a fireworks display that we enjoyed very much. Below you can see some photos:

You can enjoy the firework displays that will take place during the whole week in London. If you are in the north you can join the Fortismere School Fireworks Night. If you are in South London you can join Wimbledon Park Fireworks, Southwark Park Fireworks, Crystal Palace Park Fireworks and Brockwell Park Fireworks If you are en East London you can join the Barking Park Fireworks and Waltham Forest Fireworks. And, if you are in west London, you can join Brent Fireworks Display

There is an interesting film about the topic that we recommend. Starring by Natalie Portman, the film is called V for Vendetta.
