We'd like to give you some great things to do over the Easter weekend! Take note!
Kensington Palace Egg Hunt
Fri Apr 18 – Mon Apr 21. Kensington Palace, The Broadwalk, Kensington Gardens, W8 4PX
Kensington Palace will be getting into the springtime spirit with an egg trail through the gardens, live performances and storytelling over the long weekend. If you're entertaining the kids this Easter, keep them sweet with the code-cracking chocolate hunt, then let them unleash their creative side with a very festive bonnet making class. As much as we're excited to see the Easter Bunny shuffling around the palace grounds, we'll also be keeping our eyes peeled for Wills and Kate emerging from their living quarters and bringing bonny Prince George out for a seasonal jolly. We can but hope…
Easter at Kew Gardens
Sat Apr 5 – Tue Apr 22. Kew Gardens, Kew Rd, Richmond, TW9 3AB
This year, Kew have teamed up with The Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre, and the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical, to make 2014 the most chocolaty Easter ever. The Easter Egg hunt will likely be the biggest draw for children during Kew's Easter festival. Taking place on Sunday April 20, the little 'uns can forage for fair trade and organic chocolate eggs hidden across the Gardens. Throughout the fortnight there’s plenty more to enjoy: a create your own Willy Wonka-inspired chocolate bar workshop and a visit to the Inventing Room where you can conjure up crazy recipes for Willy Wonka’s everlasting gobstopper. Walk off all the sweet treats with a wander through the garden itself, which will be undergoing a transformation with spring in full swing and hundreds of daffodils and crocuses flowering.
Horniman Easter Fair
Sat Apr 19 – Sun Apr 20. Horniman Museum, 100 London Rd, SE23 3PQ
The Horniman Museum are pulling out all the stops for their Easter eggstravaganza this year. Setting up shop for the weekend will be an array of delectable food stalls sat alongside an arts and craft market. Chocolate-hungry Londoners can take part in an egg hunt around the museum's grounds, all the while a bunny hop dance will be kicking off in the bandstand. Entry to the fair is free, so go revel in some seriously seasonal cheer.
